These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PlayThenics mobile application and the website at playthenics.com (together, the "Service"), operated by PlayThenics ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. Purchases made through Google Play or the App Store are also subject to that store's terms.
PlayThenics is a calisthenics training tracker that stores your data on your phone. An account is optional. PlayThenics Pro is optional. Sign-in, cloud backup, and the AI coach stay off until you choose them.
We may change or discontinue parts of the Service. Export stays available, and data already on your device stays on your device.
You may use the tracker with no account. If you create one, you may sign in with email and password, Sign in with Google, or Sign in with Apple. You can sign out and delete the account from inside the app. Uninstalling the app removes local data on that device.
What happens to a cloud copy when you delete the account is described in the Privacy Policy.
PlayThenics Pro is sold through Google Play (and the App Store when the iOS app is available). We do not charge your card ourselves. Prices on the paywall come from the store. The USD figures below are reference prices only:
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel any time in your store account — at least 24 hours before the period ends.
Free for 7 days, then the annual price the store showed you. We will remind you 2 days before it converts.
Cancel in Google Play or the App Store. Restoring purchases uses the store account on the device, not your PlayThenics email. Pro follows that store account.
The coach is available with Pro. It uses a language model on a summary of your training plus the messages you send. It can be wrong. See the Privacy Policy for how that information is handled.
The coach is not a doctor, physiotherapist, or substitute for in-person coaching. It does not diagnose injury or guarantee a training outcome. You decide whether to follow any suggestion.
Calisthenics and strength training carry a risk of injury. You are responsible for your form and for whether a programme is appropriate for you. Consult a qualified professional before starting, especially if you have an injury or a medical condition. Use of the Service is at your own risk.
You own the training data you record. We do not claim ownership of it. We may store and process it only to provide the Service you asked for, such as backup or the coach. Feedback you send about the product may be used to improve the Service.
Do not use the coach or other Pro features in a way that is abusive, automated, or meant to exhaust the service. The Service is not for anyone under 13.
You may stop using the Service, delete your account, or uninstall at any time. We may suspend networked access if you break these Terms, or if we must for legal or security reasons. Store refunds, if any, are decided by Google or Apple under their policies.
The Service is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it is accurate, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular training goal.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost data, or personal injury arising from use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to what you paid us for Pro in the twelve months before the claim, or to the minimum the law allows if you paid nothing. Some places do not allow these limits; there, they apply only as far as the law allows.
Store purchases remain subject to the store's own dispute process.
We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date below will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the new Terms. Material changes to paid subscriptions will also follow the store's rules.
